PORSCHE 924 GTR “STRASSENVERSION”

First of our series "the cars that never were" - the Porsche 924 GTR "Straßenversion". For our project we embarked on an imaginary journey - fascinated by it’s success during the 24 hours of LeMans endurance race in 1980, Swiss privateer Walter Brun commissions a one-off production at Porsche with more integrated fenders and club sport package, fully homologated for the street. Finished in the legendary “Jägermeister” livery, the car is specced comparable to a modern GTR car for the road. A truly one-off creation which never happened, given that this car would have been overshadowing even the 911 Turbo of its days in performance. And yet we like to dream, which is why we created this version to pay homage to a very underrated and lesser known Porsche racecar.

STORY AND ATMOSPHERE

Storytelling and atmospheric scenes are just as important when it comes to bringing a vision to life. We achieve that by not only designing our cars in 3D but also the fitting environment to make the immersion complete. It’s in these finalized cinematic settings where the vision truly becomes authentic to the viewers eye and feels much more alive than static images with a basic background. In the right setting the cars feel authentic and real - every detail counts.
